Hotel Nord-Pinus Tanger — A Haven Above the Kasbah

At the highest point of Tangier’s ancient citadel, where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean — five rooms, four terraces, and a view that stretches to Spain.

A Hotel With History

The Hotel Nord-Pinus Tanger occupies an 18th-century palace built on Portuguese foundations, itself laid over the Roman town of Tingis. Spanning the Rue Riad Sultan, the hotel rises six floors through a grand salon marocain, past guest suites scented with leather and cedar, past a bar that hums with the spirit of old Tangier — to four lofty terraces looking out across the port, the kasbah, and the glittering Strait of Gibraltar.
